Each summer, from late June to July, the Bournemouth Live! Music Festival brings together more than 100 folk, jazz, blues, rock and pop bands from around Europe to perform live at venues throughout Bournemouth, including the Pine Walk Bandstand , the Lower Gardens , the Pier Approach Main Stage , and other local clubs.
The World Showband Championships and Music Festival
Many tourists come to Bournemouth for the World Showband Championships and Music Festival . It features international training workshops, parades, arena shows and concerts.
Higher Ground Festival
A new music and film festival taking place in venues around Bournemouth , the Higher Ground Festival features live music and film, with live performances by live funk, hip-hop and nu-jazz artists from across the United Kingdom . Short films and music videos are also screened to complement the live music.
